1925
On March 8, at the initiative of Great Leader Atatürk and under the leadership of our country’s first national bank, İşbank, our company was established as our country’s first national insurance company.

1949
We have relocated to Anadolu Sigorta Han premises in Karaköy.

1956
For the first time, we initiated the set-up of an automation system using computers.

1975
We celebrated our 50th anniversary.

1983
We launched our “Blue Insurance” policies, pioneered the package insurance system in Türkiye by providing 17 different coverages together.

1984
By introducing our “Insurance of the Future” policies, the most comprehensive life insurance product adapted to Türkiye’s conditions up to that date, we generated a major impact across the public and the sector.

1986
Breaking new ground once again in Türkiye, we started issuing policies in the field of “Electronic Equipment Insurance,” a new branch in the insurance sector.

1991
We transferred the life insurance branch to Anadolu Hayat Sigorta.

1993
By providing administrative and technical support to Günay Anadolu Sigorta, established and started its operations in Azerbaijan, we earned the distinction of being the first Turkish insurance company to incorporate a company abroad.

1996
We started issuing policies in the “Legal Protection Insurance” line, implemented in Türkiye for the first time.

1997
We implemented our Restructuring Project to fully leverage information technologies at the highest level. We have enhanced the effectiveness and efficiency of our services by integrating our entire agency network into the IT network through our online and real-time system.

1999
Following the earthquake disaster on August 17 in Türkiye, we mobilized an extraordinary effort across our employees, regional directorates, and agencies to provide our policyholders with the most rapid and extensive service, delivering 24-hour uninterrupted support.

2001
We relocated from our building in Karaköy, where we had carried out our operations for more than 50 years, to İş Towers, to continue our operations together with the subsidiaries of İşbank.

2002
“We have embarked on an entirely new era with the “Maximum Service Insurance” concept. We have once again broken new ground in the industry by consolidating the service philosophy we have held since our inception under a single heading.

2004
In accordance with legal regulations, we have expanded our service spectrum by taking over the health insurance branch from Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik. We obtained the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System certificate, proving that the quality management system we adopted is applied at an international level.

2006
Achieving a historic milestone in the Turkish insurance sector, we produced premiums exceeding TL 1 billion and maintained our leadership in premium production for the 5th consecutive year.

2007
In our 6th consecutive year as the sector leader in premium production, we became the first insurance company in Türkiye to exceed the threshold of USD 1 billion in total premium production.

2008
We launched the C2C project to review and revamp all our business processes. While increasing our profitability through our sustainable growth strategy, our superior service quality enabled us to receive the Active Academy Insurance Retail Customer Satisfaction Award for the 5th consecutive time.

2010
We have implemented the first changes we had planned within the scope of the C2C project. By launching our new corporate social responsibility project, “Bir Usta Bin Usta” (One Master, A Thousand Masters), we contributed to the revival of traditional crafts on the verge of extinction in Anatolia.

2013
By relocating our Head Office to Kavacık, we began providing our services to our policyholders from our new and modern building.

2015
We launched our new website for the celebration of our 90th anniversary.

2019
Having completed its 10th year, our corporate social responsibility project, “Bir Usta Bin Usta” (One Master, Thousand Masters), enabled us to achieve our annual goal of opening 5 different vocational courses in 5 different provinces each year, and we trained 1,000 prospective masters in 50 different vocations facing the risk of extinction.

2020
During the pandemic, we maintained our insurance operations without interruption by providing our employees with the opportunity to work remotely.

2021
During the Covid-19 period, we transitioned to a hybrid working model and continued our services without interruption.

2022
As the first and only insurance company to receive the “On-site R&D Center” certificate from the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology, we have reinforced our pioneering and leading position in the industry. By launching our new corporate social responsibility project, “Ormanın Gözleri” (Eyes of the Forest), in collaboration with the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Directorate General of Forestry, we have taken a significant step toward environmental preservation.

2023
Following the Kahramanmaraş-epicenter earthquakes that struck our country on February 6, we took swift action both to provide support to the people of the region and to ensure the safety and fulfill the requirements of our employees, retirees, and business partners. We have exerted intensive efforts to minimize the impact of the disaster.

2024
As we stepped into our 100th year, we reinforced our leading position in the sector by combining our experience from the past with solutions meeting the requirements of the future, through digital transformation projects, innovative products, and customer‑oriented services.

2025
We celebrated our 100th anniversary with pride and enthusiasm through a magnificent gala show, the launch of our corporate history book titled “Yüzyıllık İmza” (Centennial Signature), and various gatherings with employees and stakeholders. We have updated our mission, vision, and corporate values to guide our second century, taking into consideration the changing global and business life dynamics.
